The essence of ‘sustainability’ is simply that we live, act and behave responsibly toward our environment, so future generations can have livable spaces. STV believes that sustainable design is “just good design.” It’s good for the environment, it’s good for the economy and it’s good for people. Sustainability encompasses all aspects and disciplines of design working together toward a collaborative goal. As a multidisciplinary company, STV has extensive experience providing sustainable design and engineering services across a broad spectrum of building types, ranging from small support buildings to multi-million dollar laboratory facilities to billion-dollar transportation projects.

STV is currently involved in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-registered projects throughout the country. Our staff of engineers, architects, planners and construction managers includes more than 170 LEED Accredited Professionals able to shepherd projects through the certification process, from inception through occupancy and operation of the building.
