Jan Turner, CCM, LEED APJan Turner, CCM, LEED® AP, joined STV as a vice president in the firm’s Construction Management Division and the new territory manager for the division’s Midwest. In this role, she will be responsible for expanding STV’s services in construction and program management for buildings in Chicago and the Midwest.  She will also be responsible for managing the division’s projects in the region as well as business development.

Turner has been in the construction industry for nearly 40 years, working for construction managers, developers and owners throughout her career. She has been involved with numerous projects in the higher education, K-12, residential, healthcare, non-profit, senior housing, and commercial market sectors.

Prior to joining STV, Turner was the vice president of buildings for a Chicago-based project, program and construction management services firm. She was responsible for business development and operations for the firm’s buildings group.

She recently served as the principal-in-charge on various projects and programs for the Public Building Commission of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, the College of Lake County, Loyola University, the University of Chicago and many others.

Turner earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University, and an associate’s degree in applied science from Blackhawk College. She has served as a member of the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) National Board of Directors and is a past president of the Chicago chapter. She is serving her third term on the Board of Directors for One Hope United, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to protect children and strengthen families. In addition, she is past chapter president of the National Association of Women in Construction, O’Hare Suburban Chapter, a member of the United States Green Building Council and a member of Lambda Alpha – Ely Chapter.
