The Cook County, IL, Department of Capital Planning and Policy contracted STV as the managing partner of a joint venture that is providing capital program management services for the department’s public safety portfolio. As part of this program, the project team is developing a 10-year master plan for the Department of Corrections jail campus in Chicago, which consists of 67 buildings totaling 3.9 million square feet, and a campus in Maywood, IL, which includes a courthouse, the Sheriff’s police headquarters, and a training center. The scope of services includes cost estimating, scheduling, and document control for the master plan, projects within the annual capital improvement program, facilities assessment reviews and updates, ADA assistance, budgeting, and environmental and sustainability initiatives.
