For more than 100 years, General Dynamics Electric Boat (GDEB) has been synonymous with the U.S. Navy’s submarine fleet. Now, thanks to a significant increase in demand for the company’s world-class vessels, GDEB is undergoing major infrastructure upgrades at two of its New England-region production plants. STV provided critical project engineering and management support for this important initiative.

GDEB is currently engaged in large-scale, long-term, capital improvement programs that will help the company meet requests from the U.S. Navy for new and existing Virginia-class attack submarines and next generation Columbia-class ballistic missile subs. STV has assisted on a variety of infrastructure improvement and pre-construction projects aimed at expanding production space at the two sites while working to maintain and/or increase the efficiency of current equipment and processes.
