As part of a task-order contract, STV provided bus manufacturing audit and inspection services to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) for vehicles that utilize compressed natural gas- (CNG) powered bus propulsion designs. Bus types featured in the contract included a fleet of CNG-powered long-distance commuter buses manufactured by Motor Coach Industries, as well as transit buses that operate in and around the city of Los Angeles.

For each vehicle type, STV provided quality assurance inspection services through all stages of bus manufacturing as well as independent cost estimates for a number of bus procurements conducted by LADOT.
