STV's client required a new natural gas pipeline with associated facilities to reinforce its natural gas distribution system due to anticipated system load growth. The 24-inch natural gas pipeline extends 14.2 miles to a high-pressure main in Laurel, MD. In addition to providing an array of pre-engineering services, STV managed the design phase of the project, including the development of alignment and permit exhibits.

The firm oversaw the development of aerial mapping and cathodic protection design, as well as electric power line corridor AC mitigation studies, property appraisals, property surveys, and easement record plats. STV also completed the final design, participated in the pre-bid and bid evaluation process and completed the as-built survey and record drawings.
