STV oversaw the design consultants and provided surveying and civil engineering services for the new Parks and People Foundation headquarters in Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park. The new expanded facilities allow the foundation to continue its mission of serving the residents of Baltimore. The project includes the historic renovation of the former Park Superintendent’s house, constructed in 1872, and stabilization of the adjacent Carriage House; as well as creation of a new network of public walking paths and gardens. Sustainable design practices were employed throughout the 8.9-acre site. The renovated buildings and site are LEED® certified to the Platinum level.
