Douglassville United Way Committee Receives Award

Team members from STV's Douglassville office have a long tradition of giving back to the community through their work with the United Way. Executive assistant Lori Berk and document control support specialist Lalonnie Pufnock both recently represented the firm at the Berks County United Way dinner, and were presented with the organization’s Outstanding Employee Campaign Award. Berk and Pufnock received the award as representatives of the office’s United Way committee.

The award is presented to organizations that best exemplify the spirit of United Way through their efforts to create and organize campaigns that educate employees and increase voluntary giving to the charity. United Way mobilizes its members to promote education, health and financial stability within their community and outside of it. For more than three decades, the Douglassville team has led a number of fundraising efforts benefitting United Way, including an annual silent auction (with items donated by STV employees and local businesses), bake sales, flower sales, taco sales, and more.
