Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center

The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) is a three-level, 68,000-sf facility connecting rail, automobiles, intercity buses, taxis and other local transit with a goal toward reducing overall vehicular traffic in congested Orange County. The complex, which replaced a small local train station, offers convenient travel to facilitate transportation throughout Orange County, the Southern California region, and beyond.

As program management consultant, STV worked as an extension of the City of Anaheim Department of Public Works and in concert with the Orange County Transportation Authority, project stakeholders and independent consultants assigned to the project during the design and construction phases. Along with program management, STV provided construction management services, which posed challenges due to the need to maintain current rail, station, and facilities operations during construction. The building has been LEED® certified to the Platinum level by the U.S. Green Building Council.
