Education Development Center Relocation
As the owner’s project manager, STV supported the implementation of the Education Development Center’s (EDC) design, construction and move project for a 43,000-square-foot hybrid office in Waltham, MA. The scope of services included site due diligence and a feasibility study with EDC’s real estate broker to land on the most advantageous lease deal for the global nonprofit organization. Additionally, the team managed the delivery of construction drawings and provided construction administration for the new space.
The firm’s move management team planned and executed the yield up, disposition, and clean out of EDC’s existing 70,000-square-foot site to comply with their termination agreement. The team also coordinated swing space and multiple short-term storage locations for furniture, technology, and contents that were relocated upon construction completion.
