When the Ohio Department of Transportation decided to widen I-280 to six travel lanes, STV's client had to relocate three petroleum product pipelines. STV evaluated various route alternatives and construction methods for the relocation while taking into consideration costs, schedules and right-of-way acquisitions. The firm provided planning, design engineering, and environmental permitting services. During construction, STV provided final field surveying, field engineering support, HDD oversight, and prepared final as-built drawings.
