To accommodate increasing enrollment, Lock Haven University selected STV to design a renovation of Bentley Hall, the campus’ main dining hall. The addition was constructed to attract students to the new space, located a full story below the existing building’s ground floor and immediate adjacent to its existing façade, and increased the building’s square footage by fifty percent.

The firm designed intimate seating areas complete with visual dividers and centralized areas for students to gather. STV also provided a comprehensive furniture, fixtures, and equipment package to attract students to the newly renovated 21,000-square-foot expansion with conceptual details to compliment the building’s existing design. STV’s architectural and engineering services also included upgrades to the HV/AC, plumbing, and fire protection systems; renovation to the existing dining areas, elevators, offices, and restrooms; and design for the construction of a retaining wall.
