MacMillan Bloedel Conversion to Cruise Ship Terminal

The Maryland Port Administration chose STV as the engineer and architect to redesign and transform an existing lumber warehouse on the Baltimore waterfront into a dedicated cruise-ship passenger facility. The resulting 60,000-square-foot facility has since welcomed hundreds of cruise ships, promoting economic growth in the area. In addition to providing architectural and engineering design for the project, the firm also furnished contract documents, including construction drawings, special provisions, technical specifications, and engineer’s estimates, and developed detailed construction schedules.
