MDOT Maryland Transit Administration On-Call Architecture and Engineering Services
STV, in joint venture with Whitman, Requardt & Associates LLP, was awarded a contract to provide on-call architectural and engineering services to the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA). STV’s services incorporate design, construction management, and inspections for infrastructure improvements for the agency’s passenger rail and bus system.
The joint venture is currently providing architectural support for various ad hoc projects, design services for drainage repairs at light rail at-grade roadway crossings, and safety and repair audits for the Metro Subway system. The team has already performed comprehensive design services for a new commuter rail maintenance facility that will accommodate repairs for MDOT MTA’s MARC Train locomotive fleet.
