Metro Center Street Project - Emergency Security Operations Center (ESOC)

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has initiated the design and construction of a new, $83.6 million facility in Los Angeles’s Arts District that will serve as a central location for Metro’s emergency preparedness and security operations. STV and Anser Advisory, as part of the Center Street Partners joint venture, has been contracted to serve as the construction support services consultant. In this capacity, the team will provide program management, construction management, and other related services.

The Metro Center project will be a one-story essential facility. It is a key part of Metro’s overall strategy of enhancing its system security program, interoperable communications infrastructure, and transit incident monitoring, security technology operational monitoring, and emergency management systems. The facility is being designed to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification.

As part of its scope of services, Center Street Partners will support Metro by reviewing project submittals, and coordinating with the client, the general contractor, S.J. Amoroso Construction, the design team, the City of Los Angeles, and other stakeholders.
