A site that was once occupied by a drive-in theater in Watertown, CT, is now home to a state-of-the-art headquarters for the North East Transportation Company, Inc. (NET). The company operates public bus transit services in the greater Waterbury, Meriden and Wallingford areas through a management contract with the Connecticut Department of Transportation. STV helped to develop detailed, multi-phased move schedule that included the relocation of employees as well as the moving and rigging of equipment, write up of mover/rigging RFP, assistance with the management in the selection of the mover/rigger, as well as the management and approval of invoices and on-site supervision for all move related activities. 

The headquarters features a covered employee parking on the lower level, a main level that provides interior vehicle storage, bus wash, parts warehouse, maintenance bays, offices, employee lounge, and a second level with areas for the administrative staff. The company operates a fleet of 84 vehicles and employs 155 people. NET was established in 1925 and, prior to the move, had operated from a converted brass manufacturing facility located in Waterbury, CT for more than 36 years.
