Ocean Charter School is the only tuition-free Waldorf-informed charter school in the Los Angeles area and the largest of its kind in the country. Its students are currently served separately at two locations: a campus in Del Rey, CA, for kindergarten through third-grade students, and a Westchester, CA, campus for fourth- through eighth-grade students. Founded in the early 20th century, Waldorf Education is based on the insights, teachings and principles of education outlined by Rudolf Steiner. 

STV is performing a comprehensive range of construction management services for a new kindergarten-through-eighth-grade Ocean Charter School, which will unite the two campuses at one location. The construction program calls for 55,000 square feet of new buildings and 26,000 square feet of underground parking. The project also includes the demolition of existing industrial buildings and the dewatering of the site due to its proximity to the Ballona Wetlands.
