One World Trade Center - Program Management

At a symbolic height of 1,776 feet, One World Trade Center (One WTC) is a critical component of the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. Consisting of more than 3.6 million square feet, the building includes office space, restaurants, an observation deck, and broadcast facilities. It is also one of the "greenest" skyscrapers in the world, having achieved LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council and owning the claim as the tallest LEED certified building in the Western Hemisphere.

As the program manager and owner’s representative on behalf of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, STV oversaw the design and construction teams at One WTC. Given the importance of this landmark, it was imperative for the client that the building incorporate advanced state-of-the-art life-safety systems that exceed the requirements of the New York City Building Code.
