STV was contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 8-0 to provide engineering design services for a single-span bridge replacement and the rehabilitation of a three-span bridge over an active Norfolk Southern Railroad rail line. Both of the bridges posed reliability concerns and capacity constraints and required structural improvements for continued use. 

In addition to providing civil and structural engineering services, the firm is coordinating with PennDOT to conduct public outreach to residents, nearby property owners, and local businesses. The firm is also coordination with Norfolk Southern over the course of design and construction.
