Westmoreland County Transit Authority Bus Storage Facility Final Design
On behalf of Westmoreland County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Multimodel Deputate (PennDOT) selected STV to provide final design services, delivery of construction plans, and related agency approvals for a new bus storage and maintenance facility for a fleet of 45-foot buses.
The project team will advance the 30% design for a fully enclosed structure, which will improve equipment durability, safety, and efficiency. In addition to the building itself, STV will also provide assessments and designs for on-site access to parking, turning areas, site access from Business Route 66, and a retaining wall.
