STV has had a long-standing relationship with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) for more than 40 years. As part of a three-year general engineering contract with the authority’s chief engineer’s office, the firm will provide design services to support the maintenance and enhancement of various MBTA infrastructure programs including state of good repair projects, modernizations and systemwide expansion initiatives.  Services provided by the firm include scoping, feasibility surveys, environmental assistance, design review, cost estimating, project engineering assistance, contract management support, value engineering, claims management, quality assurance/quality control, asset management, and maintenance planning.
