STV Expands Presence in Tennessee With Two New Vice Presidents

NASHVILLE, TN – STV is growing its presence in Tennessee with the addition of two new key hires. Brad S. Winkler, P.E., has joined the firm as vice president and regional manager in the Tennessee region. Brad Thompson, AICP, comes to STV as vice president and operations manager for its Franklin office.

“I am thrilled that Brad and Brad have joined our Tennessee leadership team to help continue and strengthen our commitment to the state and its clients,” said Jerry Stump, P.E., STV senior vice president and Eastern region manager. “Both have a distinguished track record of creating transportation and infrastructure solutions for diverse assignments that involve planning, design, and construction and program management services.”

As regional manager, Winkler is focused on STV’s growth in Tennessee and in other parts of the country. He brings to STV 25 years of progressive project delivery achievements, operational leadership, and business development expertise. Winkler earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Tennessee and also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is the immediate past president of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Tennessee and currently serves as its Transportation Committee chair.

Thompson is in charge of STV’s Tennessee office operations. In this capacity, he is strengthening the firm’s transportation and infrastructure planning and engineering design presence in the region. A trained urban and regional planner with more than 20 years of experience, Thompson is an accomplished operations and business development leader. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography and a Master of Science degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Tennessee. He serves on the ACEC TN Board of Directors, the ACEC Transportation Committee, and the ACEC Environmental Sub-Committee.
