Allison Dane Camden, vice president and Pacific Northwest area manager at STV, has been selected to serve on the board of directors of the Transportation Choices Coalition (TCC), a Washington-based nonprofit focused on transportation policy advocacy, community programs and coalition‑building efforts that support safe, reliable and sustainable travel options for people and communities across the state.
Transportation Choices Coalition brings together leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to advance transportation polices and investments that improve access, safety and environmental outcomes – particularly for communities that rely on dependable, affordable mobility to reach jobs, services and opportunity. As a member of the board, Camden will help guide the organization’s strategic direction, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and support accountable governance in services of its mission.
“Transportation Choices Coalition plays an important role in bringing together advocates, agencies and industry partners to ensure transportation investments meaningfully serve our local communities,” said Camden. “I’m looking forward to contributing my experience alongside fellow board members to support thoughtful, inclusive conversations about mobility across Washington.”
Camden’s appointment builds on a career focused on transportation policy, advocacy and interagency coordination. She brings more than 20 years of experience supporting complex transportation initiatives in the Puget Sound region, including leading the implementation of a landmark environmental justice law in Washington that strengthened community engagement, informed decision-making processes and improved coordination among state agencies and partners. Het work has consistently emphasized collaboration across public and private stakeholders to deliver transportation solutions that respond to community needs.
Throughout her career, she has remained actively engaged in industry and policy forums, including serving as vice chair of AASHTO’s Transportation Policy Forum and participating in national transportation leadership and professional organizations.
