STV’s Beth Miller, head of communications, received Ragan’s 2025 Top Women in Communications award, recognizing her leadership and impact on STV’s brand and strategic plan. Across 16 categories, Ragan’s annual program recognizes women leaders in communications from companies such as Southwest Airlines, Samsung, Coca Cola, Beats by Dre, Lockhead Martin and The Home Depot. Miller was named to the Leaders category alongside 10 senior communications professionals.
Since joining STV in 2022, Miller spearheaded STV’s rebranding that modernized the firm’s image while celebrating its 112-year-old legacy. The brand redesign complemented the launch of STV’s Strategic Plan in 2023, which Miller played a pivotal role in shaping.
This past year, she oversaw the launch of STV’s new website and several digital marketing campaigns that have helped grow the firm’s brand awareness in key business sectors. Beth also coordinated communications and events surrounding the move of STV’s headquarters to the iconic Empire State Building – including lighting the iconic Empire State Building STV red when the brand and new headquarters was announced to employees. In July 2024, the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) New York chapter honored the STV’s strategic plan and new brand identity with an award that Miller accepted alongside members of the Communications team.

“Beth is highly respected in our industry for her strategic communications prowess and ability to deliver results,” said Aaron Jones, director of media. “She has a sophisticated understanding of what drives the business and consistently connects our communications strategies to the company’s goals. Beth is a remarkable mentor for STV colleagues – in the Communications team and beyond – and I’m thrilled to see her recognized at this level.”
Miller boasts more than 20 years of national and international experience in media relations, crisis communications and branding, previously serving as a press secretary and director of communications for the City of New York during the Bloomberg administration. Her communications fingerprint can be found on signature infrastructure projects including the Oculus at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, New York City’s Second Avenue Subway and LaGuardia Airport. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
