Our Charlotte, NC, team celebrated National Engineers Week by hosting local elementary school students for an “Introduction to Engineering” event in the office.
During the session, attendees heard about the importance of civil engineering and how STV employees make a positive impact on communities.
“The kids were very engaged,” said organizer Shirshant Sharma P.E., senior civil engineer. “They asked thoughtful questions, participated in witty experiments, and left with a greater knowledge of our industry and future career options. The future is bright.”
Additionally, Ashley Bouchard, P.E.; Moriah Ellington, P.E., LEED AP; Nicole Hepner, P.E., and Andrew Vane, P.E., all helped to create a successful event.
