STV’s planning and mobility technologies team was honored by their client at Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport with an Innovation Excellence Award at the airport’s Business Opportunity Forum.
Since 2021, STV, in joint venture with Arredondo, Zepeda and Brunz, LLC, has been performing civil landside planning, project management and construction management solutions in support of DFW’s long-term multi-billion-dollar investment plan. As part of these services, the firm’s mobility technologies team, led by Dan Corey, has been partnering with the airport’s Innovation and Planning team to host a series of five electric vehicles (EV) charging demonstrations at various customer parking lots, offering participants a chance to test different EV charging solutions, such as autonomous robotic wireless charging, on-demand charging, and applications that enable charging control from anywhere in the world.
DFW’s Business Opportunity Forum brings together hundreds of consultants, contractors and suppliers to receive an overview of upcoming projects at the airport, while also encouraging these entities to think about how their services can benefit the DFW community.
Our team was represented by Corey, and other members from our Texas Mountain Region and Centers of Excellence teams during the ceremony.
“It’s always a significant honor to receive an award like this directly from the client,” Corey said. “Our DFW team prides itself on thinking outside the box to help this growing airport develop new approaches to customer interactions and the overall customer experience.”
