STV Chief Executive Officer Greg Kelly, PE, has been named incoming chairman of the Construction Industry Roundtable (CIRT), a national business trade association comprised exclusively of CEOs from the top U.S. design and construction companies.
CIRT addresses the industry’s most pressing challenges and advocates for policies that strengthen the built environment. Through research and advocacy, the collective focuses on issues ranging from workforce development and supply chain resilience to infrastructure investment, innovation and long-term industry stewardship.
“CIRT members are instrumental in building our country from coast to coast,” Kelly said. “In my role as chairman, my priority is to reinforce CIRT as a strong, collective voice for the industry, while helping members embrace technology, improve safety, prepare the next generation of leaders and elevate standards across design and construction.”
Kelly was elected during CIRT’s recent membership meeting and is succeeding Tom Reilly, president of Turner Construction Company. Kelly previously served as vice chairman of CIRT, a role through which he has worked closely with the organization’s executive leadership and member CEOs to advance shared priorities for the design and construction industry.
“As we approach CIRT’s landmark 40th anniversary in 2027, I am incredibly excited to collaboratively partner with Greg as we work together to empower our leaders to drive meaningful, positive change across the design and construction industry,” said CIRT President R. Corey Clayborne, FAIA. “I am truly fortunate to serve alongside such a transformational leader.”
Kelly has served as CEO of STV since 2020, leading the firm’s growth across transportation, buildings and water markets while advancing initiatives focused on innovation, talent development and client service.
In addition to his role with CIRT, Kelly has been inducted into the National Academy of Construction and the MOLES. He serves on the board of the Regional Plan Association and is chair of the Temple University College of Engineering Board of Visitors. He is past chair of the New York Building Congress, a former chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York and the Salvadori Center, and a former board member of the Design Professionals Coalition.
