Kim Vierheilig, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, president of STV’s Buildings practice, has been named a 2026 Executive Excellence honoree by NJBIZ, recognizing her leadership, industry impact and commitment to advancing New Jersey’s business and civic communities. NJBIZ selected nearly 60 senior executives for this year’s program, which honors leaders who demonstrate exceptional vision, integrity, company performance and community service.

“I’m honored to be recognized by NJBIZ alongside such an accomplished group of leaders,” Vierheilig said. “This award reflects the dedication of the many colleagues, clients and partners I’ve had the privilege to work with throughout my career. Together, we are creating projects and opportunities that strengthen communities, advance our profession and help shape a better future.”

Vierheilig leads a multidisciplinary team delivering architecture, planning, interior design and engineering services for projects across North America. Under her leadership, STV’s Buildings teams have helped clients advance some of New Jersey’s most transformative infrastructure and civic investments, including Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A and resilience improvements for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission, strengthening critical facilities and supporting long-term community needs across the state. With more than 25 years of experience as a licensed architect, she has built a career focused on strengthening communities through innovative, people-centered design and infrastructure solutions.

The recognition adds to a series of recent honors for Vierheilig. In 2025, she was recognized by the Society of IndoAmerican Engineers & Architects for her contributions to the architecture, engineering and construction industry and was elected to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. She was also elected to the National Academy of Construction, recognizing her leadership in advancing innovation, sustainability and mentorship across the industry. Through her leadership of major projects, industry engagement and service on influential boards and organizations, Vierheilig has become a respected voice within New Jersey’s business, design and infrastructure communities.

NJBIZ will honor the 2026 Executive Excellence recipients at an awards ceremony on October 13 in Somerset, New Jersey.
