Kristin McElroy, CCM, project controls manager at STV, has been honored with the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) Golden Key Award, recognizing her leadership, dedication and long-term contributions to the organization and the construction management profession.
A member since 2018, McElroy first assisted the North Texas Chapter during a period of transition. Applying her background in project controls and financial management, she helped strengthen the chapter’s operations and set the foundation for sustained growth.
McElroy will be honored at CMAA’s national conference in Nashville, Tennessee, later this month.
First as treasurer and later as chapter president, McElroy helped transform the North Texas Chapter into one of CMAA’s most active and engaged organizations through signature events. Under her leadership, the chapter earned the Chapter of the Year award for chapters with 400–699 members.
“I was completely surprised and deeply honored by this recognition,” McElroy said. “CMAA has given me so much: professional growth, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to make a lasting impact on our industry. I’m proud to help keep our chapter strong and vibrant.”
Today, McElroy continues to advance CMAA’s mission nationally through her role on the Chapter Performance Committee, where she helps guide best practices for chapters across the country and in the Ambassador program, where she provides peer support to new members.
