Published

STV’s team in New England continued its legacy of supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society by recently organizing and taking part in the 28th Annual Golf Classic to support the MS Society’s Greater New England chapter.

Senior Office Manager Alicia Lawless organized the event, whose competitors included Senior Vice President and Business Unit Leader Jim Kolb, Project Executive Tim McKay, Senior Associate and Project Manager Ted Bulger and Senior Architect Steven Packard, Business Development Director Sandra Gucciardi, Planner Chris Andersen, Project Director Irene Lee, Senior Associate and Project Director Bob Labrecque, and Assistant Project Manager Alex Farrell.

The event was first founded by members from our Massachusetts team in 1994 and has continued to grow, this year hosting 150 participants at the Hopkinton Country Club in Hopkinton, MA. The tournament raised more than $90,000 bringing the total raised throughout the tournament’s 28-year history to over $1.5 million. The event also featured a dinner and raffle.

“The support from our industry partners, clients, and friends is extraordinary,” Lawless said. “Many have been golfing with us since the beginning, and each year we welcome new faces.  Whether they have a personal connection to MS or enjoy golfing for a good cause, it’s a guaranteed great day raising money to help fund vital support services and the research to end this disease for good. We are honored to continue our mission to support the MS Society.”

The 29th annual tournament is planned for September the 11, 2023.
