STV’s San Antonio team recently helped sort food in support of the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB). The volunteers, including STV employees and their family members, as well as several other groups, sorted 60,653 pounds of food in just three hours – which equates to roughly 13,322 meals for those in need.

SAFB serves a 29-county area in Texas and supports approximately 100,000 individuals each week. It also offers a variety of additional programs, including benefits assistance, a farmer’s market featuring fruit and vegetables grown by SAFB volunteers, job assistance, summer and after-school children’s programs, and senior programs.
“This is the second year the San Antonio office has partnered with the food bank,” said Amy Esguerra. “Food insecurity affects so many of our neighbors and giving a few hours of our Saturday is a small but meaningful way we can support families and strengthen our community.”
