The Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) New York chapter honored STV with two awards of excellence at its 2024 Liberty Awards for the firm’s corporate brand identity and a promotional campaign for STV’s national Justice practice.
SMPS-NY is the leading architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) marketing and business development organization in the New York region.
In February 2023, STV unveiled its three-year strategic plan and new brand identity, reflecting STV’s purpose of making communities better through innovative solutions. To embody the company’s bold new direction within the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, the firm initiated a collaborative effort of employee and client engagement, plus industry and market research, to help shape the new brand. The firm’s internal communications and client experience teams engaged over 1,600 employees, holding 55 individual employee focus groups and 40 in-depth client interviews.
“Our new visual identity tells the story of STV, bridging the legacy of our past with our future,” said Vice President of Communications Beth Miller, who accepted the SMPS-NY award alongside Aaron Jones, APR, director of media, and Justin Grundfast, director of design. “We’ve enjoyed getting to watch the new brand be adopted and used throughout the company, including in the reimagined New York City flagship office, and are pleased with how it has been received by our clients, partners and prospective team members.”
SMPS-NY also recognized a promotional campaign by STV for its multi-tactic, multimedia approach to elevating brand visibility and thought leadership in the justice architecture sector. A collaboration between the firm’s Communications and Marketing teams, this campaign used targeted LinkedIn ads coupled with several engagement tactics to spotlight STV’s humane approach to justice design and support project pursuits in the justice market. The campaign successfully elevated STV’s brand visibility through a series of featured articles penned by our justice thought leaders.
