As part of STV’s commitment to enhancing how we deliver for clients and communities, both Autumn Gargiule and Isaac Forero were selected to participate in the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey’s (ACECNJ) Emerging Leaders Program.
The program, open exclusively to ACECNJ member firms, brings professionals together to build practical leadership skills through three highly interactive, two-day sessions led by experts in business administration and people management. Topics include human resources, government affairs and negotiations – areas that shape how emerging leaders operate within professional services environments.
Experiences like this shape how STV’s teams approach collaboration, decision-making and client service, reinforcing the value the organization brings to partners.
Gargiule, a project manager based in Philadelphia, currently provides project management services to the Delaware River Port Authority, overseeing the development and delivery of capital projects. In addition to her project responsibilities, she has been active in office and community initiatives, including supporting a Habitat for Humanity volunteer day in Philadelphia, highlighting a community-focused mindset that carries through to how she approaches her work with clients and project teams.
“Autumn brings a strong sense of ownership and collaboration to her work, and this ACECNJ program builds on how she’s already delivering across projects and working closely with clients and teams,” said Marc Preim, vice president and area manager for Philadelphia at STV. “The relationships and perspective she’s gaining will continue to strengthen how she delivers for our clients.”
Forero’s experience demonstrates a similar commitment to combining technical expertise with professional leadership – an approach that is central to STV’s broader effort to develop future leaders across the firm. A senior structural bridge engineer based in Newark, he is currently the deputy project manager for the New Jersey Transportation Authority’s 5 Turnpike structures replacement project and serves as one of the structures leads on the Betsy Ross Bridge Reconstruction project. Additionally, Forero serves on the Board of the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers, where he is the House of Delegates Representative and a director on the state Executive Board. He is also currently serving his second term as the communications chair for the American Society of Civil Engineers North Jersey Branch.
“Isaac has built a strong technical foundation while also demonstrating a real commitment to leadership beyond his day-to-day work,” said Miguel Santiago, vice president and area manager for Newark at STV. “Programs like this help sharpen judgment and communication skills that are critical to delivering for clients, and it’s great to see him bringing that experience back to the team.”
