STV recently hosted open house events for clients, partners and community stakeholders at its new offices in Raleigh and Virginia Beach, celebrating milestones in the firm’s ongoing investment across the Southeast.

Both offices, which opened this summer, are built around an Activity Based Working (ABW) model, offering flexible spaces to support collaboration and creativity. Equipped with advanced technology, abundant natural light and thoughtful design, they are transforming how STV teams work and interact with clients.

In Raleigh, the local team welcomed guests to 400H, located in the heart of downtown. Joined by Adrienne Cole, CEO of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the evening began with remarks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by refreshments and networking. Guests were welcomed to tour the space and connect with both regional and executive leadership, including Jerry Stump, President of STV’s Transportation South Group; Lynda Tran, Board Member; Jacqueline Opal, Chief People Officer; and David Black, Chief Financial Officer. Clients from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the City of Raleigh, GoTriangle and other regional partners were also in attendance, underscoring STV’s long-standing partnerships across the region.

“Establishing this space in downtown Raleigh was an intentional choice. We wanted to be central, connected and positioned closer to our people and clients,” said Patrick Livingston, PE, vice president and Raleigh area manager. “Seeing our clients, partners and teammates gather in the space, sharing ideas and reconnecting in person, really highlighted the impact this new location will have.”

STV’s Virginia Beach team marked the opening of its new Town Center office with a ribbon-cutting and an evening celebration of the community that has shaped its growth. As part of the move, the team sold its previous office equipment and donated the proceeds to D-Feet Cancer, The Dalton Fox Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to research and family support for Ewing Sarcoma and other understudied childhood cancers. Founders Will and Jen Fox attended the event to share their son Dalton’s story and their organization’s mission.

“This evening was a reminder of the strong relationships we’ve built here in Virginia Beach,” said Scott Lovell, PE, vice president and D.C./Virginia area manager. “Being able to celebrate this new office with our colleagues, clients and partners shows how collaboration and connection are at the heart of everything we do.”

The open house also brought together clients from Hampton Roads Transit, the Virginia Department of Transportation, the City of Virginia Beach, industry partners, subconsultants and former Virginia Beach City councilmember Delceno Miles.
