STV Appoints Ann Barolak to Drive Education Market Growth

PHILADELPHIA, PA – STV, a professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Ann Barolak, AIA, has joined the firm as vice president and market sector leader for education within the firm’s national buildings group. In this role, Barolak will lead design teams, manage key projects and drive client management efforts, while spearheading the expansion of STV’s higher education practice.

Barolak is an architect with more than 35 years of experience and a career-long focus on service to the higher education market. Prior to joining STV, she was a principal and project executive at an international design, architecture and engineering firm, where she spearheaded business development, client management and project team leadership for the higher education sector across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.

Barolak holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drexel University. She is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP), the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) and Professional Women in Construction (PWC).

STV’s national buildings group provides comprehensive architecture, engineering, planning and design services for a range of markets including education, justice, health and well-being, transportation, science and technology and cities.
