STV employees in Charlotte recently participated in the Water For People Charlotte 5K, held at McAlpine Creek Park.

Proceeds from this annual event directly support Water For People, a nonprofit organization that works in Latin America, East Africa and India to ensure that every person has access to reliable and safe water and sanitation services. STV’s participation in the run is a part of the organization’s larger sponsorship of Water For People, underscoring the firm’s commitment to global water equity and community engagement.

“Water For People is an incredible organization making a real difference in communities around the world by helping ensure access to safe, sustainable water,” said Robert Krantz, assistant project manager, who was one of STV’s participants alongside Sydent Vossmer, engineering specialist. “I’m proud to work for a company like STV that supports this mission, not just through sponsorship, but by showing up. Events like this remind me why we do what we do and are a great way to connect with local clients and peers in the industry.”

STV’s water team has supported Water for People for more than 15 years, partnering with community and industry leaders, including the American Water Works Association, to raise funds and develop long-range solutions that aspire to bring clean water and safe sanitation methods to communities around the globe.
