PHILADELPHIA, PA – STV, a leading professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Sean Pulsifer, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as vice president and architectural discipline leader for its Philadelphia office. In this role, Pulsifer will oversee STV’s architectural practice in Philadelphia, driving design excellence, overseeing the execution of architectural work, mentoring staff and fostering client relationships while supporting business development efforts.

Pulsifer is an accomplished architect with over 30 years of experience, specializing in the design, technical detailing, execution and management of projects in the higher education, institutional, commercial and healthcare sectors. He has led multi-disciplinary teams delivering innovative, cohesive and client-focused solutions across the U.S. Northeast.

Pulsifer holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the California College of the Arts. He is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

STV’s national buildings group provides comprehensive architecture, engineering, planning and design services for a range of markets including education, justice, health and well-being, transportation, science and technology, federal programs and cities. In the higher education sector, STV has designed libraries, laboratories, research facilities, student housing, athletic centers and more. Notable projects include the Mui Ho Fine Arts Library Renovation at Cornell University, the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech and the Davis Barracks at the United States Military Academy West Point.
