DALLAS, TX – STV, a professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced that Swaroop Puchalapalli, P.E., has joined the firm’s Dallas office as Dallas water group manager. In this role, Puchalalpalli will lead STV’s Dallas-Fort Worth team managing water and wastewater projects while also serving as a subject matter expert to clients in Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) treatment solutions and other water treatment technology.

Puchalapalli has more than 18 years of experience in water and wastewater design as well as significant project and client management expertise. Prior to joining STV, Puchalapalli worked for a global engineering and management firm where he specialized in water treatment design, hydraulic modeling, and construction management of water distribution utility lines.
Puchalapalli received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sri Venkateshwara University in India and his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Cleveland State University. He is a longstanding member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and currently serves on its Abstract Committee for the National Water Quality Technology Conference and served in the Program Committee of the New York section. He is also a member of the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Long Island Water Conference (LIWC).
