Alison Love, PE, SE, senior associate and structural engineer at STV, has been named one of Engineering News-Record (ENR) East’s 2026 Top Young Professionals, recognizing her leadership, technical excellence and community impact in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

The annual program celebrates rising leaders who have made lasting contributions to their professions and communities. Based in STV’s Boston office, Love has spent her 13-year career delivering innovative bridge and structural design solutions that improve regional mobility and resilience. She has made key contributions to some of Massachusetts’ most complex infrastructure projects, including the Longfellow Bridge Rehabilitation, the Belden G. Bly Bridge Replacement and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) North Station Draw 1 Vertical Lift Bridge.

A dedicated mentor and advocate for women in transportation, Love serves as the communications co-chair for WTS-Boston, where she manages outreach to hundreds of members and supports programs that encourage girls to pursue careers in STEM. She also volunteers regularly at student summits and STEM expos across Massachusetts, helping to inspire the next generation of engineers.

Love was previously named 2024 Young Professional of the Year by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) and was a national finalist for the ACEC Young Professional of the Year Award – further testament to her commitment to advancing the profession.

“Alison exemplifies the next generation of leadership in engineering,” said Marian Barth, PE, vice president and area manager at STV. “Her technical expertise, mentorship and enthusiasm for service make her a cornerstone of our team and a role model for others.”
