Krishani Teeluck, Ph.D., senior sustainable design specialist at STV, has been named one of Professional Women in Construction New York’s (PWC NY) 2025 20 Under 40 award recipients.

This prestigious recognition celebrates emerging leaders who are redefining the future of the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry through innovation, technical excellence and meaningful community impact.

“Being named one of PWC’s 20 Under 40 is an incredible honor,” Teeluck said. “I’m grateful to work alongside such talented colleagues who share a common mission to strengthen our communities and deliver projects that create lasting, positive change. I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with innovation and purpose in everything we do.”

Based in New York, Teeluck is advancing renewable energy and zero-emission strategies across some of the nation’s most complex infrastructure programs. Drawing on her background as a research chemist, she pioneered cost-effective methods for hydrogen production and developed advanced electrocatalysts that enhance energy efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Nearly two years into her tenure at STV, she applies that same scientific discipline and creativity, helping clients integrate sustainability into every phase of project delivery.

“I’m thrilled to see Krishani’s work recognized by PWC NY,” said Lauren Alger, vice president and director of sustainable design at STV. “She has an incredible ability to translate advanced research into practical, real-world strategies that help our clients improve performance. Just as importantly, she does it with optimism and generosity, lifting up others and strengthening the teams around her. This recognition from PWC is truly well-deserved.”

Beyond her technical expertise, Teeluck is deeply committed to mentorship and inclusion. Within STV and the broader AEC community, she champions professional development opportunities for women and emerging leaders, fostering collaboration and a culture of shared growth.
