STV Senior Associate and Business Development Director Robert Rusciano has been reappointed to a two-year term as chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACEC NJ) Buildings and Facilities Committee. With over 25 years of experience in business development and agency engagement, Rusciano brings strategic insight and deep industry knowledge to the role.

“This committee has been years in the making and is now hitting its stride. I’m proud to be reappointed as we work to strengthen partnerships across the public and private sectors in support of New Jersey’s capital planning and infrastructure needs,” he said.

In 2023, Rusciano played a key role in establishing the committee’s mission and catalyzing initial momentum. He facilitated important industry engagements, including a membership breakfast with the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction, where Deputy Director James Langsdorf discussed significant pre-qualification processes and over $700 million in upcoming capital projects. Rusciano also conducted a session with the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), featuring Ramy Kamel, vice president of program and construction operations, focusing on $1.2 billion in capital and emergent projects across various stages, such as design, environmental services, planning, operations, and construction.

For his second term, Rusciano will continue to lead a 10-member committee focused on strengthening relationships between member firms and public agencies. The group will help ACEC NJ members stay aligned with opportunities in facilities planning, modernization and capital improvement, advancing advocacy, professional development and collaboration with agencies overseeing public infrastructure and facility programs.

A longstanding and active member of ACEC NJ, Rusciano offers valuable institutional insights shaped by decades of experience on the client side of agency interactions.

“I hope to serve as a bridge between state and county agencies and our member firms,” he said. “With my background, I understand both sides of the conversation and see real potential for building stronger partnerships.”

With deep expertise in construction management and facilities planning, Rusciano will continue to guide the committee’s efforts to support member firms and help shape the future of New Jersey’s built environment.
