Marilisa Stigliano, vice president and director of project support as part of STV’s operations team, has been named to the board of directors for the Professional Women in Construction New York Chapter (PWC NY), a leading industry organization that serves the New York Metropolitan Region.
“I’m honored to be supporting such a crucial organization in this capacity,” Stigliano said. “I place a lot of value on industry stewardship and mentoring, and PWC NY brings together a broad range of the AEC industry to help advance our goals relating to professional development as well as our overall mission to make communities better. I have always been aligned with the organization’s focus on mentorship, on supporting our MWBE community and on providing leadership and learning opportunities to our community. I look forward to strengthening the partnership that STV has with the organization and to connect with more of our team members who are interested in becoming actively involved in the organization.”
In addition to PWC NY, Stigliano serves on the board of directors for the New York Building Congress and is on the Advisory Board for the Columbia University Center of Buildings, Infrastructure and Public Spaces. Stigliano was also a PWC 20 under 40 outstanding women in Construction in 2018.
PWC was founded in 1980 in New York by eight women who wanted to advance their careers and businesses. Now a national organization, its membership is open to professional women and men, private companies and public agencies in construction and allied industries. STV has been a long-standing supporter and sponsor of the organization for years.
