Lauren Alger, P.E., ENV SP, is a vice president and the director of sustainable design at STV. She has experience providing engineering services for several LEED-certified and Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure award-winning projects. As a member of SE 2050, the ASCE-SEI commitment to reduce embodied carbon within structural systems of buildings, Alger launched Infrastructure 2050, which expands the scope to quantify, analyze and reduce embodied carbon within other infrastructure project designs.
