STV provided architectural and engineering design for Montgomery County Community College's new 61,000-square-foot Advanced Technology Center (ATC). Accommodating the Humanities, Social Science, Math/Science/Advanced Technologies, Information Technology, and Business/Computer Science divisions, the four-story building provides a collaborative learning environment where the humanities and sciences are brought together within a facility that promotes an interdisciplinary approach to education. 

The ATC has become a signature building for the college. The center features a three-story glass atrium; a multilevel cyber tower with Internet access; a small observatory; and a mix of smart classrooms, television and radio studios, lounges, and teaching labs for music, science, and computers. STV also prepared plans for the walks, landscaping, hardscaping, site furnishings, and parking areas.
