AstraZeneca’s U.S. Business Center campus in Wilmington, DE, houses innovative office areas, a fitness center, a visitor center, a conference and training center, a 300-seat auditorium, a 500-seat cafeteria, a 32,000-square-foot stand-alone childcare facility and a five-level precast concrete parking structure.
STV served as the owner’s representative for all aspects of planning, design and construction—including commissioning for this fast-tracked campus redevelopment. The firm coordinated all activities during site selection, due diligence investigations, site and utility master planning through facility programming, design and approval.
STV’s team oversaw the construction and all construction activities for four buildings totaling 715,000 square feet of usable space. For the construction of research space, STV established a separate data center used for non-production testing and research equipment.
