To meet the demands of a growing student population, Shippensburg University renovated and expanded its Ceddia Union Building, a three-story structure housing an undersized snack bar, convenience store, and dining operation. STV provided construction management services for the $24 million multi-phased project through an open-ended Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education contract.

The project entailed renovation of the Ceddia building and construction of a 58,204-square-foot addition and an 8,500-square-foot addition. The Ceddia building features an expanded kitchen and dining area. The larger addition houses a two-story multipurpose room, 400-seat amphitheater, media center, food court, dining hall, lounges, a book store and other spaces. Phased construction allowed the university to maintain partial use of the Ceddia Union Building.
