In an effort to address Baltimore’s growing need for affordable homeownership, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, a nonprofit organization, plans to build 27 new townhouses in an existing housing development known as Orchard Ridge.  Orchard Ridge is a mixed-income community with more than 450 houses. In addition to creating more housing, this program will enhance wheelchair accessibility throughout the community. 

On behalf of Habitat for Humanity, STV is providing civil engineering and landscape design, erosion and sediment control and permit processing services for the new homes at Orchard Ridge. The firm is also facilitating the project’s field survey and subdivision plan.
