Hazelton Public Transit Airport Road Construction
To better preserve and maintain its existing fleet transit, the Pennsylvania Bureau of Public Transportation contracted with STV to provide comprehensive design services for a new $25 million Hazelton Public Transit (HPT) bus storage and maintenance facility.
The facility was designed to accommodate a fleet of 22 buses, with administrative and training spaces for HPT employees. The facility was also designed to be flexible to address future growth of the bus fleet, including the ability to store compressed natural gas buses.
