STV’s integrated team of architects, engineers and interior designers partnered with Kutztown University and its food services provider, Aramark, on a comprehensive refresh of the campus’s main residential dining hall. Designed for fast-track delivery, the project included the early procurement of long-lead furnishings and food services equipment, ensuring construction could be completed over the summer months.
Warm wood tones, bright whites and vibrant accents adorn the open, inviting dining space. STV took full advantage of the building’s access to natural light, incorporating a variety of seating options to enhance student enjoyment without sacrificing operational efficiency. The renovation also included major upgrades to mechanical and life safety systems, improving efficiency and performance. The new servery features state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, updated casework and modern finishes. The new seating design accommodates 360 students in a mix of group sizes and configurations.
