STV is providing owner’s project management services for Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center expansion and construction of the Coastal Sustainability Institute in Nahant, Massachusetts. The 65,000-square-foot facility is planned to include teaching, laboratory, research, administrative and learning spaces.
The phased project has required coordination among permitting and regulatory authorities, Northeastern leadership, Nahant residents and multiple end users. STV has overseen financial management on behalf of the university while guiding the design effort in collaboration with Payette and supporting budget, schedule and phasing development alongside Skanska USA Building.
